So, we just became aware that we had NOT been paid for the remaining fuel left at our residence as per the contract-I was contacted by the fuel company and forwarded the email to our agent-Was this a failure on the lawyers part for not including the fuel reimbursement in the closing documents and/or of our agent who was present at the closing for not having noticed this omission?? I don't know-we didn't realise it either- but I don't feel very confident in either now-

Attention to detail was not present-We informed the agent there was an issue with our address being confused with a similar address and an adjacent town- Issue was not resolved before the listing went public-First impression was tainted as a result-Had to initiate changing details ourselves to rectify problem. Initial description of the property was written without regard to important details about the house-ie much wasted verbiage about producing" culinary delights" from the kitchen with no mention of the solar system or professionally insulated basement We had our son re-write the description which included the correct pertinent details. The reality sign placed in front of the property did not have the words"For Sale" which could have caused some confusion. Communication was lacking-at times our agent would become somewhat sarcastic or short with us as if she was too busy to be bothered-to the point where we contacted her supervisor(as we did so the office staff put our call through to the agent instead of the supervisor putting us in an uncomfortable position) We were asking questions around the closing costs which we were contributing funds for and received a very sarcastic answer-rather than a simple explanation( we were completely unaware of the buyers costs of closing and just wanted to be sure we were not not paying more than necessary. Agent needs to educate herself more thoroughly on property details-ie call from her at closing stating the buyers "were clueless" about the solar system-and could they contact us. Not trying to throw her under the bus- She just needs to be more aware of what she is representing.-and be more wiling to listen to what the sellers know about their own house- She should ask more questions about the more important details and not focus just how pretty the house is. More meat less fluff! Curb appeal is important but the so are the improvements made to a property. Thank You .
